Take a walk in the olive groves of Lun among the 1500-year-old trees. Hike to the highest mountain on the island, Sveti Vid, and enjoy the wonderful view of the surrounding islands. Take a trip to the Mediterranean city of Zadar or to the Plitvice Lakes. For romantics, an evening boat ride to the neighboring island of Rab.
Potocnica is located in the northern part of the island of Pag, right by the sea. This small holiday resort offers plenty of tranquility for those who don’t need the hustle and bustle but prefer to relax in beautiful nature.
The island of Pag has approximately 260 km of coastline with countless coves and beaches, some rocky, but also with fine sand, just like ours. About 10,000 people live in the small villages along the west coast of Pag, because only there is the Mediterranean vegetation green and lush. The climate is mild throughout the year and the high salt content of the clean air is extremely beneficial.
The best way to reach us is by car:
Country road: Rijeka - Senj – Ferry port Prizna – Pag Island
Highway: Munich - Salzburg - Villach - Karawanken Tunnel - Ljubljana - Zagreb - AK Bosiljevo – Gospic – Country road to Karlobag and then towards Rijeka to the ferry port Prizna – Pag Island
The nearest airport is in Zadar (80 km) and the nearest train station is also in Zadar. From the mainland, a car ferry (15 min crossing) goes from Prizna (mainland) to Pag Island. If you are coming from the south, you can also drive over the Pag Bridge.
