There is a land-yachting school at nearby Bretteville beach. Oysters can be purchased on a Sunday direct from the producer 200m from the house.

Holiday destination

Denneville has over 2km of golden sandy beaches which shelve gently into the Atlantic. There are some shops that are open during the season 100m from the house, and out of season there is a butchers, grocers and a very good baker in nearby Denneville Bourg.

There are many tourist sites within easy driving distance including the Mont St. Michel, Bayeux and many typical French fishing ports. The local seafood is excellent, and there are many good Restaurants in nearby Portbail and Carteret.

Das Haus ist von der Ausstattung und Lage einfach unschlagbar. Die Küche ist mit allem bestückt. schade nur das das fenster bzw Tür oben zugegeklebt war. Wir würden gerne nächstes Jahr wieder kommen und dann den Balkon geniessen. Die Sitzmöglichkeit im Wohnzimmer ist eher fragwürdig. Paletten mit einem Polster drauf sind nicht so bequem. Aufstehe ist wegen der niedrigen Höhe schwierig. Die Stufen in den Anbau zum 2. Bad sind sehr hoch. diese zu erklimmen, bedarf ein gewisses Geschick

Das Ferienhaus besticht durch seine Lage direkt am Meer auf der Düne. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend.
Tolle Strand-und Dünenwanderungen (z.B. nach Portbail) direkt ab Haus. Auch im Hinterland einige schöne Wanderwege möglich. Restaurant und Strandbar fußläufig. Nette und unkomplizierte Vermieter. Es war unser zweiter Aufenthalt. Wir wollen wieder kommen.

Tolles gepflegtes Haus mit einer traumhaften Aussicht! Alles vorhanden, was für einen entspannten Urlaub gewünscht wird. Super nette Vermieter, alles hat toll funktioniert. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!!
