The garden (southern side) borders a refreshing stream that isn't deep.
There's also a roof terrace off the kitchen.

The Wine Route is less than 20 minutes away — every village along the route hosts its very own wine festival. The heavily forested surrounding area is home to several castles, boulders and a natural swimming pool.
You'll find a bakery, a butcher, a little village supermarket and a variety of restaurants all within walking distance. Larger supermarkets can be found 15 minutes away in Lambrecht.
Elmstein sits in the triangle of territory surrounded by the A6, the A61 and the A65 motorways.
From the east:
A65 – exit Neustadt-Nord, drive towards Kaiserslautern (B39), take a left towards Elmstein after Lambrecht.
From the west:
A6 – exit Enkenbach/Alsenbach, drive towards Hochspeyer, travel towards Johanniskreuz, when you get there, take a left to Elmstein.
