The cottage is located just outside the village of Kastellos on the highest hill, at about 450 m. Just a few meters above you circle vulture and buzzards, you can look down on many birds. Ideal not only for nature lovers and hiking man. Even those who love absolute peace and quiet are the place to be here. In a few minutes you will be in Rethymnon.
From the villa you have a breathtaking view of the Akrotiri Peninsula, the sea, the "White Mountains" and the highest mountain in Crete, the Psiloritis (2456 m).
Shopping is about 2 km away. The nearest Taverna is about 1 km away. The long sandy beach can be reached in about 12 minutes. In the south of Crete, according to Plakias it is only about 20 km.
