Numerous hiking trails lead from Bad Schandau into the mountains of the Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland National Park.
From your holiday apartment you can visit the national park house on the nearby Elbe cycle path, about a 5-minute walk away, take a walk through the plant garden in the Kirnitzschtal or take a ride on the Kirnitzschtalbahn to the Lichtenhain waterfall.
A steamboat trip on the Elbe or a visit to the Toskana thermal baths in Bad Schandau offer special relaxation.
