Holiday destination
Buchholz is located at the Lüneburg Heath nature reserve - right at the gates of Hamburg (35 km): music, museums, musicals, the famous port, Elbe and Alster rivers and much more. Idyllic riding, cycling and hiking paths, golf and tennis are right at your door. Shopping facilities and doctors are nearby. The heath is perfect suited for hiking, riding tours and cycling. Between July and October (please ask for certain dates) there is a free shuttle bus with bicycle trailer from the centre of Holm-Seppensen to the Lüneburg Heath nature reserve. Daytrips to Bremen, Lübeck, Lüneburg, Altes Land, Baltic and North Sea are recommended. Many special deals with the Metropolkarte. You can visit numerous famous musicals.
Getting there
Buchholz is well connected: by train via Hamburg or Bremen by car via Autobahn A1 or A7 by plane to Hamburg, Bremen or Hanover. We send a detailed description upon request.

Die Ferienwohnung ist topp, schöne Lage. Alles ist schön und gut eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts, die Wohnung ist ein Traum. Wir fühlten uns hier ganz wie zu Hause. Diese Ruhe hat uns so gut getan, wir sind wunderbar erholt! Tagestouren nach Hamburg mit ÖPNV fußläufig gut erreichbar; ebenso die Geschäfte zum Einkauf. Wir wurden durch die Vermiterin, Frau Schmidt- Baumann, liebevoll betreut, sie ist eine aussergewöhnlich freundliche und hilfsbereite Dame, alle unsere Anliegen wurden von ihr sofort erledigt. Uns hat es viel Freude und Erholung gebracht, in ihrem Hause zu Gast sein zu dürfen, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Wir bedanken uns herzlich bei Frau Schmidt- Baumann für die wunderschöne Zeit in ihrem Hause und danken ihr für alles. Wir empfehlen diese Ferienwohnung sehr gerne weiter.
