At Carpentras and many villages not far away you'll find weekly markets, wirer you can buy all kind of products of the region like fruits, vegetables , sausages, olives, soaps, honey....
There is also a very beautiful garden where you can do climbing beside the little lake at Mormoiron. Also very interesting is the crocodile farm at Pierrelatte, where you can watch about 360 crocodiles move in a very spacey glass hall with a lot of plants and water for the crocodiles to swim.
Holiday destination
Carpentras is a little town in the Provence, with beautiful old buildings,little shops and restaurants. Each friday there is a market in the city of Carpentras,where you can buy all kind of typical products of the region.
There are many things for sightseeing in the environment, just somme examples: Avignon (15 minutes by car), Isle-sur-la- Sorgue with its market of antiques, Gordes, Velleron, Gorge de Toulourenc to walk through, Vaison-la-Romaine with its roman arena, Orange with its roman theatre and a farm of crocodiles at Pierrelatte.
The mediterranean sea is about 90 km to go. You've also got 2 little lakes to take a bath about 10 minutes by car.

By train: to Avignon, from there by bus or train to the city of Carpentras
By car: on highway 7, exit Orange or Bollène, then follow the signs "Carpentras"
By plane: to Marseille and then by train or bus to Avignon, then to Carpentras by bus

Am Stadtrand gelegen ist das Haus ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren, vor allem entlang der via venaissia! Wieder zurück kann man sich im Haus und Garten erholen, Lieblingsplätze gibt es einige, im Schatten auf der Terrasse oder in der Sonne am Teich. Die Ausstattung ist prima, so dass man auch mit leichtem Gepäck anreisen kann. Die Vermieterin erwies sich als in jeder Hinsicht hilfreich und freundlich und wir kommen gerne wieder einmal.

Zuerst einmal ist die überaus engagierte und freundliche Vermieterin zu erwähnen, die prompt und zugewandt kommuniziert und der offensichtlich am Herzen liegt, dass ihre Gäste sich wohlfühlen. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet und der Garten lädt mit unterschiedlichen Sitzgruppen zum Verweilen ein. Wer die absolute Ruhe und Einsamkeit sucht, ist hier nicht richtig. Die Lage das Hauses ist aber ideal, um die traumhafte Umgebung zu erkunden. Und die ist immer eine Reise wert!
