This farmhouse in the historical village of Holwerd welcomes you to spend a vacation enjoying the central heating, terrace, and barbecue. It has 11 bedrooms to accommodate a group of 30 people or families with children.



The beautiful surroundings have fisherman's houses and narrow alleys to explore by walking or cycling. You can enjoy wonderful mudflat hiking trips. Visit Ameland and Schiermonnikoog or the Wadden islands. The walled city Dokkum at 9 km has a historic charm that shouldn't be missed. The sea at 1 km gives a perfect day at the beach. Supermarket and restaurants are at 100 m and 500 m respectively.

Wir wurden vom Manager äußerst freundlich und gastfreundlich empfangen. Den Kindern unserer Gruppe standen alle erdenklichen Einrichtungen und jede Menge Spielsachen zur Verfügung.
Die Lage des Ferienbauernhofs ist optimal, um das Wattenmeer zu genießen, aber auch in fußläufiger Entfernung zu Geschäften und dem alten Dorfkern.
Die Hilfsbereitschaft des Managers ist optimal.
Wir haben unseren einwöchigen Urlaub im Stelpshoeve wirklich genossen!

Wir wurden von Johann unserem Vermieter freundlich empfangen und bekamen eine Einweisung in das Haus und besonders für die tolle Geschirrspülmaschine, die uns eine Menge Arbeit abgenommen hat. Unser Vermieter war jederzeit für uns erreichbar und ansprechbar.
Die Zimmer waren einfach aber zweckmäßig und alle haben angegeben sehr gut geschlafen zu haben. Die Badezimmer in allen Zimmer waren nicht die neuesten aber sauber und die Duschen hatten permanent heißes Wasser und einen sehr guten Wasserdruck. Was nicht überall so üblich ist.
Unsere Kinder waren so begeistert von der Spielecke und der Größe des Hauses, daß sie nichtmehr nach Hause fahren wollten.
Die Treppe nach oben war steil, was aber selbst für die Kleinsten kein Problem darstellte.
Genossen haben wir die super eingerichtete Küche, in der das gemeinsame Kochen für und mit so vielen Personen richtig Spaß gemacht hat.
Johann hat für uns eine Wattwanderung organisiert, von der alle begeistert waren, besonders die Kleinsten genossen das wühlen im Schlamm um Krebse zu fangen.
Ein sehr gut sortierter neuer Supermarkt war in 2 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen, ebenso ein großer Spielplatz für die Kleinen.
Der Fähranleger zur Insel Ameland ist 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt und es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall ein Ausflug auf die Insel.
Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Urlaub und haben die gemeinsame Zeit sehr genossen.
