Wir durften einen netten Empfang erleben, selbst das bestellte gute Wetter wurde geliefert, so war es der Beginn eines tollen Urlaubs. Bei der großen Hitze waren wir hocherfreut, dass die Schlafräume im Souterrain gelegen sind, wo es angenehm kühl war und das Schlafen nicht zur Qual wurde. Nach einem heftigen Regenfall war der Wasserfall, der direkt am Haus liegt, deutlich zu hören. War einerseits irritierend, andererseits auch romantisch. Auf jeden Fall ein Erlebnis. Und es war extrem ruhig. Erfreulich, dass man hier noch morgens und abends dem Vogelkonzert lauschen könnte, in der heutigen Zeit schon geradezu von Seltenheitswert.
Die Eheleute van Gosch, die uns Eintritt in unser Urlaubsdomizil haben,sind freundlich und hilfsbereit, so dass es ein angenehmes nachbarschaftlichen Verhältnis war.
Einzig ein Manko hat die Ferienwohnung im Gäste-WC war deutlich ein mehr als unangenehmer Ölgeruch wahrnehmbar, der dazu führte, dass wir nur im äußersten Notfall diesen Raum betraten. Schade, dass dieser Missstand der Wohnung einen Wermutstropfen verleiht.
