Das Haus war nicht allzu schwer zu finden, aber es stellte sich heraus, dass alles verschlossen war und der Vermieter nicht nebenan wohnte. Nachdem wir den Vermieter telefonisch über unsere Ankunft informiert hatten (nur auf Französisch kommuniziert), kam der Eigentümer nach ca. 45 Minuten, um das Haus zu öffnen. Wieder einmal erwies es sich als sehr schwierig, dass der Vermieter kein Wort Englisch sprach und unsere Tochter nur begrenzt Französisch konnte. Mit vielen Gesten wurde alles einigermaßen klargestellt und unser Urlaub konnte beginnen. Unserer Meinung nach war das Haus sehr spärlich eingerichtet. Wenige Stühle, wenig Geschirr und Besteck. Doch später stellte sich heraus, dass dies nicht die reichsten Gebiete waren. Das Haus lag in einem sehr kleinen Dorf und die Gegend besteht hauptsächlich aus sehr kleinen Dörfern, man muss also unbedingt rausgehen, um sich zu unterhalten. Außerdem ist uns aufgefallen, dass es in der Region nur sehr wenige junge Menschen gibt und die Bevölkerung überwiegend aus älteren Paaren besteht. Wir konnten schöne Ausflüge machen, Kanufahren in De Lot, besuchten donnerstags den Wochenmarkt in Meers und besichtigten die schöne Altstadt von Concues.
