The nearest beach from you is at 10 km distance, but if you want to experience one of the most sandy beaches of Barneville-Carteret by car, only in half an hour. You can travel to the city Cherbour, the St. Vaast-la-Hougue port, and Barfleur known for its oyster breeding. The general supplies can be bought from only 100 m away.

Auch wenn das Wetter zu Beginn unserer Woche sehr zu wünschen übrig ließ (wie man es in der Normandie erwarten kann), haben wir es genossen. vom Haus, von der Umgebung und später in der Woche auch vom schönen Wetter.
Das Haus liegt an einer recht ruhigen Straße auf dem Grundstück des sehr freundlichen Eigentümers, der auf der anderen Straßenseite wohnt. Wir durften das Auto in einem offenen Schuppen abstellen. Das Ferienhaus selbst ist mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Die Betten waren bei unserer Ankunft gemacht! Es gibt einen Smart-TV und Internet, obwohl es für den begeisterten Benutzer (wie unseren Teenager) etwas langsam sein kann. Es gibt einen umzäunten Garten, der zu Obstbäumen und etwas weiter zu einer Wiese mit Kühen führt.
In der Gegend gibt es viel zu sehen, insbesondere was die Ereignisse am D-Day betrifft. Freitags gibt es in Valogne einen Markt. Als wir dort waren, gab es Live-Musik. Sie können dort auch einen Supermarkt finden. Wenn Sie eine größere Stadt suchen, empfiehlt sich Cherbourg.

Ein sehr schönes Haus, was Sie auf den Fotos sehen, ist das, was Sie bekommen! Sehr freundlicher Besitzer, der auf uns wartete und eine gute Führung und Erklärung gab. Schönes, ruhiges Haus, viel Platz (2 Erwachsene und ein großer Hund) und ruhige Umgebung. Guter Schlaf aufgrund der Stille in der Nacht. Ausreichend Platz, um einen Anhänger und ein Auto auf dem Parkplatz abzustellen. Auch bei Fragen war der Vermieter jederzeit gut erreichbar. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Schönes Haus! Sehr gut ausgestattet mit fast allen praktischen Dingen, die man sich vorstellen kann. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit guten Küchenutensilien und Geschirr. Nachteil laut dem Teenager: Obwohl die WLAN-Verbindung selbst stark war, war das Internet ziemlich langsam, das Gleiche galt für 4G.

Das Haus befindet sich in ruhiger Lage, ein großartiger Ort, um die Spitze der Normandie zu erkunden.
