In our bungalow, flooded with light from a central skylight and featuring a starfish floor plan, you'll find the perfect spot for relaxation. The 380 sqm property, framed by bush roses, offers ample privacy. A spacious sliding door system connects the 70 sqm living space on the ground floor with a wind-protected terrace. The house is situated in a holiday park with various recreational facilities such as mini-golf, a restaurant, an expansive playground with a lake and open spaces for all kinds of ball games like volleyball, football, and basketball. An adjacent bowling center and various other playgrounds are also available. A covered swimming pool (new in 2016!) and a golf course (family golfing for beginners) are within walking distance. Located directly by the dunes, the surrounding area can be explored with the house's own bicycles, whether through tulip fields or dune paths.

North Holland is still original, romantic, and also rugged. Old windmills, ships on canals, and sheep on the dyke shape the landscape. Every season has its charm. The summer sun with white dream beaches. Hikes in the boisterous autumn. Snow-covered landscapes in winter and soon after, a colorful sea of flowers in spring. Walking, hiking, and cycling paths through nature reserves are inviting. New canals allow for canoe trips up to Den Helder. Rentals for canoes and bicycles nearby (!)

Shopping facilities, restaurants, pizzeria, snack bars, cafes, ice cream parlors, etc., are easily accessible by bicycle in Julianadorp. Den Helder, besides shopping, offers an exciting maritime museum. The adjacent harbor with its historic ships, nice cafes, and a large play and cinema park is also worth a visit in bad weather. The largest amusement park in North Holland "De Goudvis" in St.-Maartenzee, 25 minutes by car.
Dutch culture is tangible at the famous cheese market in Alkmaar.
In Hoorn, the Westfries Museum awaits you, and in Medemblik, the Zuiderzee Museum.

Directions up to Utrecht, A12 from Oberhausen/Arnhem or via A2 from Düsseldorf/Eindhoven;
A2 at Utrecht until just before Amsterdam, then A9 towards Haarlem/Schiphol Airport
Stay on A9, past Amsterdam, heading north exit Alkmaar
and then another 1/2 hour along the beautiful North Holland Canal, N9.
Exit Julianadorp South or, even nicer, the next exit, Julianadorp Centrum...
At the 1st roundabout turn right, past the shopping center (district center) DE RIEPEL, then right, immediately left... 1.5km towards the sand dune... at the end turn left and about 400m again left,
(directly behind the round restaurant), the large parking lot - you have arrived.

We rent out our private home and trust in a positive cooperation. With the booking confirmation, a deposit (about 2 days' rent) is made, and the remaining amount should be paid up to 3 weeks before the rental starts. Should something happen that verifiably prevents the trip from starting, the remaining amount, which is unfortunate enough for you, we think! ;-) ... Unless it's just 2 days prior...
