The holiday home is located in Haus Staffelberg with ground level access. The house belongs to the Adalbert Stifter holiday village in the district Raßreuth, in the holiday region Bavarian Forest / Passauer Land.
The holiday village offers perfect holiday conditions for those seeking peace, sports enthusiasts and hikers with children. A total of 5 people will find enough space to spend a wonderful holiday here.
In addition to a spacious living and sleeping area, the apartment has a children's room with bunk beds and a sofa bed. The fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, oven, ceramic hob, microwave and dishwasher, and the modern bathroom will make you feel right at home on holiday.
In the holiday village you can enjoy the new outdoor pool, indoor pool & Finnish sauna, sunbathing area with sun loungers, children's playground, table tennis, barbecue, quiet south-facing slope, baked goods from Monday-Saturday, lockable storage for bikes / skis etc. Our apartment is non-smoking and non-allergenic, therefore unfortunately, we do not allow pets. Included in the rental price is the apartment-assigned car parking space and basic laundry equipment.
Please bring sauna and bath towels for the indoor pool and outdoor pool with you!!

The natural lake Freudensee is 800 m away. Here you can swim, jog, walk or just go for a walk. Hiking and biking directly from the apartment (brochures, suggestions and maps available).
Shops and recommended restaurants are just a few minutes drive away.
In winter, cross-country skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing on the slopes of the Oberfrauenwald (950 vertical meters), in the nearby children's ski area Geiersberg or Hochficht (1338 vertical meters), about 35 km away.
Sightseeing Passau including boat trip or UNESCO World Heritage Krumau in Czechia, treetop path, visit to the graphite mine Kropfmühl, Farm Village Museum in Tittling, schnapps and granite museum in Hauzenberg, climbing park in Waldkirchen, trips to nearby Austria or Czechia to the Vltava reservoir.

If coming from Nuremberg or Munich:
A3 towards Passau until motorway exit Aicha vorm Wald, from there about 30 km on the well-developed road follow the signs to Hauzenberg.
If coming from Austria:
A3 towards Nürnberg until the motorway exit Passau Nord, then towards Passau and then follow the signs to Hauzenberg.
In Hauzenberg, follow the signs towards Freudensee and then continue to Raßreuth.
In Raßreuth do not follow the main road that veers right, but continue straight ahead at the turn-off. On the right you will see the first sign for the holiday village.

If the guest cancels the booking or does not appear on the day of arrival, the landlord's claim to the rent remains. The rent depends on the time of the cancellation:
- up to 3 months before the rental date 30% of the amount agreed for the rental;
- from 6 weeks before the rental period, 50% of the amount agreed for the rental;
- from 4 weeks before arrival 80% of the amount agreed for the rental;
- from 2 weeks before arrival 100% of the amount agreed for the rental.
If the landlord can otherwise rent the apartment in the event of cancellation or no-show, only compensation for damage in the amount of the difference to a lower re-letting price is payable.
We recommend to take out a cancellation insurance.
