Holiday destination
Our holiday home is located on the edge of the tranquil village of Petten, nestled within a nature reserve. The center of Petten is just a 10-minute walk away and offers a Spar market (open 7 days), a pizzeria, a restaurant/brasserie, and two smaller shops. The extensive sandy beach is only about 1000 meters away.
On well-marked cycling and hiking trails, you can enjoy the beautiful dune and heath landscape.
Numerous cities are inviting for shopping and cultural excursions:
Alkmaar (cheese market, museum), Den Helder (ferry to Texel), Bergen aan Zee (sea aquarium), Amsterdam, and Hoorn.
Getting there
Take the A1, A2, A4, or A5 highways and drive past Amsterdam towards Alkmaar. In Alkmaar, leave the highway and pass the AZ Alkmaar football stadium. Then continue on the N9 towards Bergen to Petten.

Tolles Ferienhaus, sehr gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtet, Küchenausstattung hervorragend!!
Toller Garten, von allen Seiten so begrünt und zugewachsen, dass niemand hinein sehen kann.
Alles sehr gepflegt und sauber!

Wie waren zu zweit unterwegs.
Das Ferienhaus liegt in einem schönen Ferienpark mit Schwimmbad (das wir auf Grund der Außentemperatur nicht genutzt haben).
Der Strand ist weitläufig und nicht überlaufen.
Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, besonders hervorzuheben sind die beiden Lesesessel....
Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war hervorragend.
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
