Cosy and relaxing: Your 90m² accommodation consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room, 1 bathroom, a kitchen and a laundry room. The house is decorated with functional furniture. Stairs and fireplace are made of Sardinian granite. The terracotta colour shade of the flooring gives the rooms a warm ambience. The front part of the house features a nice, L-shaped loggia (35m²) with ocean view. A scenic setting where you can enjoy meals, surrounded by the lawn of the front garden. The spacious terrace behind the house offers a fantastic panorama. The fenced, 2000m² large property has beautiful stone terraces and is planted with olive, juniper and palm trees, oleanders, geraniums and hibiscus.
The fabulous ocean view is an absolute highlight that will leave you mesmerised. 1200 metres from the house (4 minutes by car) you'll find Solana's gorgeous white beach, lined with cliffs on two sides. This part of the ocean is always free of algae. Children will have fun watching small fish swim about. With a bit of luck you'll see dolphins in the bay. The spot by the beautiful granite rocks is great for snorkeling. Free parking is available. To guests who love walking - getting to the beach on foot takes about 15 minutes. Walking around the hill with Solanas' old Spanish tower is a wonderful experience, especially at sunset. The enchanting combination of the rural idyll and crystal blue sea dominates the region together with the typical Mediterranean (macchia) vegetation: wild olive trees, mastic trees, juniper, cistus and more.

Solanas is a 10-minute drive from Villasimius, the largest tourist destination in the south of Sardinia with numerous shopping and leisure facilities, entertainment and beaches. The wonderful water park Diverland in Quartucciu is a special attraction for the whole family (approx 30 min. by car). Aside from having the best shopping facilities, the capital Cagliari (about 45 min. from Solanas) also offers historic sights in the old part of town, museums, countless gastronomic highlights (in the harbour's marina district), cultural offerings including concerts, theatre, cinema etc., and last but not least the Molentargius Saline Regional Park with thousands of flamingos.
The village Solanas is a small seaside resort and still unaffected by mass tourism and its negative impacts. The village centre is about 1.5 km from the house and offers its visitors several bars, pizzerias, supermarkets and renowned restaurants (during peak season). There's also a pharmacy, a church and a few grocery stores. The local market offers fresh produce from the Sardinian gastronomy as well as household goods and more; twice a week (Wednesdays & Fridays).
Leave the greater area of Cagliari/Quartu and follow the Strada Provinciale (SP 17) to your destination address Via degli anemoni 56 in Solanas. Turn left. The SP17 is a very picturesque, winding coastal road with breathtaking lookout points.
Alternative route: SS 131, then the SS 554 until you reach..., continue on the SS 125. This is a motorway without curves, but you'll drive through several long tunnels.
