Westkapelle is located directly by the sea, amidst the beach, dike, dunes, and a small lake/creek, with a wooded area to the south of the town.
A hiking trail is marked around the lake, and anglers can find their favorite spot. Right at the town center is a small beach, at the point where the dike was breached in 1944.
To the south of the town begins the long beach that stretches all the way to Vlissingen! About 12 km of sandy beach extend there, where you can take endless walks along the shore. Even during a hefty southwest storm, this beach route is bustling, and not just on the beach itself.
In various beach pavilions, you can stop by for a good meal, with a fantastic view of the sea.
You can arrive and depart any day. Arrivals from 4:00 PM (or upon request). Departures until 10:00 AM (or upon request).
During the high season (July 1, 2017, to August 26, 2017), you can only arrive and depart on Saturdays.
