On Ameland, you'll find our charming holiday apartment "Auszeit". Look forward to a vacation with a balcony and Wi-Fi amenities across 75 sqm of living space. Our "Auszeit" was completely renovated for you in the autumn of 2017.
Awaiting you are 2 bedrooms each with a double bed, a living-dining room with kitchen, separate toilet, bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the garden of the courtyard. Our apartment (1st floor) has a fully equipped kitchen. For cozy, somewhat cooler evenings, there is a bio-ethanol fireplace in the living room. For sunny days at the beach, we have prepared a picnic basket and 4 inflatable sofas for you, as well as an electric grill for a cozy meal on the balcony.

Ameland is perfect for a vacation with your dog. The long beach and the great forests are ideal for extended walks with your four-legged friends. Pets are warmly welcome in our holiday apartment on Ameland. After all, our furry friends deserve a break on Ameland too. As proud owners of a Bullmastiff female ourselves, we made sure to renovate the apartment to suit dog owners. For instance, our holiday apartment has an easy-to-clean parquet floor, making those extensive beach walks relaxed even when you return to "Auszeit". Of course, dog bowls are also available for our four-legged guests in the apartment. After your departure, we will make sure that the apartment is thoroughly cleaned and ready for the next guests.

Our holiday apartment on Ameland is located in Buren. Today, the place enjoys great popularity among tourists, as it is close to the beach and the town of Nes. From here, you can quickly reach the nature reserve "Het Oerd," which starts right behind the apartment complex. A bicycle rental is also just a few hundred meters away. Also located in Buren is the agricultural and beachcombing museum "Swartwoude."
For nature lovers, Ameland is a paradise. The landscape offers a variety of facets all on one island. Forests, dunes, beaches, polders, salt marshes, or even mudflats – all this can be found on Ameland. The island can be explored on foot or by bike.
Horse enthusiasts will also get their money's worth here! Guided beach rides with magnificent Friesians are no problem - or simply bring your own horse...
