This holiday home has been inspected and evaluated according to the star criteria of the German Tourism Association. Depending on equipment and service, the accommodation is awarded one to five stars.
Our holiday residence is a spacious half-timbered house from the 1930s that has been completely renovated in 2017, completed at the beginning of 2018. Lots of comfort is hidden the historic historic façade - spread over 4 bedrooms, 2 modern bathrooms, a guest toilet, a fully equipped country kitchen, spacious living/dining area with a separate media room where guests can watch TV, play games or relax.
The ambitious hobby cook will enjoy the perfectly equipped kitchen with induction hob, oven/microwave, a large American fridge, automatic coffee machine, etc..
All 3 bedrooms have box-spring beds/divans (180x200 cm) as well as a TV and hair dryer. Bed linen, towels and dish towels are included at no extra cost.
We also provide an ironing board and iron, soap and toilet paper.
Cot & highchair upon request.
Intermediate cleaning -for a fee- can be arranged on request.
The dining room has a big, solid dining table (3x1 m) with seating for 10-12 people.
The living room has a large sofa, sat. TV, Nintendo Wii including games, a games table/desk, books,
board games, a radio with CD player, sat. TV.
You can park your car on the property.
This is the ideal country house for a time-out with friends or a holiday with the whole family, quietly situated at the edge of town on a large property with old trees that borders on the forest. A number of walks and hiking trails are right on your doorstep. The hillside location guarantees you a panoramic view into all directions - to the forest, town and surrounding landscape.

Surrounded by extensive forests, Wallmerod is located halfway between Frankfurt and Cologne. Wallmerod is a combined municipality, so all shopping facilities occupy the same area of 14'000m². REWE, Aldi, bakeries and a butcher's shop. Good restaurants can be found in the near vicinity. The cities Limburg and Montabaur are a short drive away. Travel time to Coblenz is approx. 30 minutes. Hiking, cycling, swimming. Golf, sightseeing or activities with the kids - our area offers countless leisure opportunities.
Wallmerod is conveniently situated at an old trade route (Hohe Straße), now the B8, between Frankfurt am Main (78 km) and Cologne (103 km) in the south of the Westerwald.
The BAB junction of the A3, Diez/Wallmerod, is 9 km away.
The nearest train stations are in Dreikirchen and Steinefrenz at the 'Unterwesterwaldbahn' railway (Limburg an der Lahn - Diez - Elz Süd - Montabaur - Wirges - Siershahn); here, the regional train line 29 of the Hessische Landesbahn (company) operates in the DreiLänderBahn area at the same hours as the trains in Rhineland-Palatinate.
Connections to the ICE long distance trains run at the train station Montabaur (13 km away) and at the train station Limburg Süd (21 km away).

The renter can cancel the contract before arrival by written declaration to the owner. The time the landlord receives the written cancellation is the time of cancellation.
If the guest cancels the rental contract, they must pay a flat fee compensation for the expenses already incurred by the owner and the lost profit in the following amounts:
Cancelling up to 49 days prior to arrival: 10% of the rental price,
48-35 days prior to arrival: 30% of the rental price,
34-21 days prior to arrival: 60% of the rental price,
20-14 days prior to arrival: 90% of the rental price.
We recommend that our guests take out a travel cancellation insurance.
