Holiday destination
The bungalow is located in the north of Texel near the town of "de Cocksdorp" on the edge of an extensive dune landscape. The 30 km long sandy beach is only about 2 km away. The lighthouse, a landmark of the island, and the Wadden Sea are quickly accessible from here.
Getting there
Firstly, head to the ferry port in Den Helder (Navigation: Havenplein 3, Pontweg 1, NL-1781 AB Den Helder)
From there, take the ferry across (20-minute crossing, no reservation needed, all vehicles)
Costs for a round-trip ticket for a passenger car:
• €25.00 (departing on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
• €37.00 (departing on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday)
• Pedestrians pay €2.50 for a round-trip ticket
Timetable:
The crossings operate on a fixed schedule. On peak travel days, an additional boat is deployed. The normal schedule is as follows:
• From Den Helder, a boat departs hourly from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm. The boat departs at half past the hour.
• From Texel, a boat departs hourly from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. The boat departs on the hour.

Der Bungalow Texelsonne liegt am Ende einer Sackgasse und ist von Rasenfläche umgeben, ebenfalls sind 2 Parkplätze vorhanden.
Die Einrichtung ist stilvoll und praktisch und lässt kaum Wünsche offen.
Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die überdachte Terrasse, die auch bei Regen, Mahlzeiten im Freien erlaubt.
Da wir aber überwiegend Sonne hatten, wäre ein größerer Sonnenschirm wünschenswert gewesen, da es zur Mittagszeit nur wenig Schattenplätze auf dem Grundstück gibt.
Zum Strand kommt man bequem mit dem Fahrrad. In der zum Bungalow gehörenden Strandhütte, kann man super die Zeit am Meer genießen.
Unsere Mädels nutzten einige Male auch den freien Zugang zum Schwimmbad im Park, wo ihnen die Rutschen besonders gut gefallen haben.
Uns hat es auf jeden Fall sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Der Bungalow mit seiner gemütlichen Terrasse lässt keine Wünsche offen! Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und es stehen sogar ein Holzkohlegrill und Waschmaschine&Trockner zur Verfügung.
Besonders praktisch ist, dass der Bungalow auf beiden Etagen über ein Bad mit Dusche verfügt.
Der Ferienpark rundherum bietet viele Attraktionen und mit dem Fahrrad lassen sich viele tolle Ausflüge unternehmen.
Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
