Bermatingen is a town in the countryside of Lake Constance, about four kilometres west of Markdorf. Bermatingen is located at an elevation of 436 in the Linzgau to the southwest of the Gehrenberg in the Seefelder Aach valley.
The town of Bermatingen is made up of the areas of Behrmatingen (with the hamlets of Autenweiler and Wiggenweiler) and Ahausen and has about 3800 residents.
By car:
Bermatingen is located about 4 km to the west of Markdorf in the countryside of Lake Constance. You reach us via the road L 205 from the direction of Markdorf and coming from the direction of Salem. The district road K 7749 leads to Bermatingen from Meersburg and from Autenweiler.
Public transportation:
- Airport: by air you reach us from the Bodensee Airport Friedrichshafen and then take the regional train and bus to Bermatingen via Markdorf.
- Train: The town of Bermatingen is connected by bus lines with Markdorf, Salem and Meersburg (bus lines 7396, 7382). You can find more information from the Bodensee-Oberschwaben Verkehrsbund (www.bodo.de).

The tenant can cancel the contract before the start of the rental by contacting the owner in writing. The date the declaration of cancellation is received by the owner is the decisive date. If the tenant withdraws from the rental contract, they must pay a flat fee for the expenses incurred by the owner and the lost revenue in the following amounts: cancellation up to 45 Day before start of the rental period: 20% (at least 25 EUR), cancellation up to the 35th day before the start of the rental period: 50%, then and if there is a no-show, 80% and 100% of the rental price. The tenant has the burden of proof that lesser damages were incurred by the owner. The tenant can nominate a replacement tenant if they cancel, who is prepared to accept the existing contract conditions in their place. The owner can object to the third party is they appear economically or personally unreliable. If a third party assumes the rental contract, they and the previous tenants are liable to the owner as joint debtors for the rental price and the additional costs associated with the third party acceptance of the contract. The owner will try in good faith to re-rent the property and must deduct the savings from the cancellation fees. The conclusion of travel cancellation insurance is recommended.
For less than 4 nights booked, we charge a one-time surcharge of 75.00 EUR per night.
