Fort Augustus provides an ideal base to explore the Highlands of Scotland. It is 30 miles from both Fort William and Ben Nevis. Inverness lies 30 miles to the north, and the stunning Isle of Skye is just a 1.5-hour drive away.
Fort Augustus is at the foot of Loch Ness. Buses come from Inverness and from Fort William, both 30 miles away. Allow 3.5 hours from Edinburgh or Glasgow, enjoying the drive through Loch Lomond or the Trossachs Mountain Range. From Fort William follow the road to Inverness and just as you come into the village turn sharp right and the Abbey is facing you.
From Inverness head for Fort William and when you come into Fort Augustus, cross the bridges over the river and canal and bear left - the Abbey gates are there on your left.

The balance is payable 6 weeks before the due arrival date and is non-refundable.
Accordingly, it is important that cancellations are intimated to us by telephone followed by immediate written confirmation.
Swimming pool is open 7 days a week 9am-6pm, no lift available in the Highland Club, free parking.
