In 2017 we discovered the over 100 year old farmhouse of a crab fisherman and have renovated it. The Grange, the former stable, has now become a holiday loft with a lot of flair. On the ground floor there is the living and dining room with fireplace, 2 levels higher there is the kitchen and the bathroom with shower. A spiral staircase leads from the living room to the gallery, with a double bed, wardrobe and desk. The typical fisherman's house is situated in the middle of the polder landscape surrounded by wild geese, horses, chickens, cows and a large garden. The extensive views in all directions and the old building structure are what make this place so special.
Unique sunrises and sunsets - relax in the hammocks, watch the wild geese, enjoy the tranquility of country life and follow the flame of the Oostende lighthouse in the evening.

Our accommodation is particularly suitable for cyclists who want to explore the Belgian coast or cycle to Bruges. The wide beach of De Haan and the beautiful polder landscape invite you to take long walks. If you want to enjoy country life and the coast, you will find the perfect accommodation here.
You can also undertake countless excursions from here. You can reach Bruges in 20 minutes by car or 1 hour by bike.
From Aachen or the Ruhr area to De Haan you can reach us by car in 3 - 4 hours. Arriving by train to Oostende and then by tram is a convenient alternative.

Einstein is a very special place for people who want to experience De Haan in a unique way. We love this house very much with its beautiful garden, situated in the vast and varied polder landscape.
