Schoberalm is situated at an altitude of 1800 meters and nestled in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Our cabin is distinguished by its breathtaking panorama and idyllic tranquility. With loving craftsmanship, a cozy cabin with all comforts has been built, where one can enjoy the wonderful silence and take a break from the hectic everyday life. Until a few years ago, the cabin was still managed by a dairywoman. Now, during the summer months, the cabin is rented out in its entirety to guests.
The fantastic view of the stunning mountain world around allows one to take a deep breath and take time for oneself. The day begins with breakfast with the whole family at sunrise. Time and again, deer and stags can be spotted on their exploratory walks.
During the day, various hiking trails in untouched nature can be explored starting from the cabin, and in the evening, the wood stove in the kitchen is fired up, providing cozy warmth and creating a real cabin flair. With a large dining table and cozy seating area, nothing stands in the way of a game night with the family or a cozy get-together.
In 1800, brave men first scaled Austria's highest peak, the Grossglockner (3,798 m). Here awaits you the largest national park in the Alps and one of the most diverse landscapes on earth: imposing waterfalls, vast glacier areas, rare animal and plant species that can be discovered with national park rangers.
