Our thatched roof cottage was originally the stable and smokehouse of a large farm from around 1850. With hard work and passion we have turned it into a dream holiday home and always made sure to preserve its unique historic elements. The old, exposed beams, the open cobblestone foundation, masonry and the clay wattle walls provide a unique charm.

The house is located in the heart of the small, quiet village of Schnellmark. The environment is hard to beat when it comes to versatility. For those seeking peace and nature, the nearby beach, with forest, cows and meadows and a cliff that changes every year, is great for amazing walks. And just a few kilometres further, Eckernförde offers a variety of cultural experiences for all ages: pirate days, flea and weekly markets, exclusive harbour boardwalk, literature and film days and much, much more. And if you prefer to be active, don't forget your bike or surfboard.
