Our holiday home is 85 sqm in size and suitable for up to 5 people. On the ground floor, there is an open-plan kitchen and living room area, a storage room, and a guest toilet. In the living room, you can cozy up by the wood stove, and the kitchen is modern and well-equipped, so you'll have everything you need. On the upper floor are 3 bedrooms, two with double beds and one with a single bed. There is also a small storage room with a washing machine and spinner. And a bathroom with a shower and toilet.
The property is 340 sqm and is located directly on the water with its own jetty and motorboat.
From here, you can directly explore the waterways of North Holland without a license. From November 1st to February 29th, the boat is not in the water. However, if the weather is particularly nice, there is the possibility to bring the boat into the water at short notice.
Great excursion destinations are the historic cities of Enkhuizen, Hoorn, and Alkmaar.
You can use a private motorboat with 9.9 HP without a license. From November 1st to February 29th, the boat is not in the water. However, if the weather is particularly nice, there is a possibility to put the boat in the water at short notice. A wood stove is available. The house has Wi-Fi.

The polders around Medemblik are known for their excellent pike stocks - but please fish only after obtaining a Vispas and during the open season.
The quaint old town of Medemblik is situated right on the IJsselmeer. You can take the historic steam train to Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Amsterdam and the vast North Sea beaches are about a half-hour drive away. Sailing, paddling, and cycling are excellent activities to enjoy. If you like fishing, you can do so directly from the house or by boat. The polders are very popular with pike fishermen.
