Description

Renovated farmhouse with two apartments (Apartment Onda & Tartuca) on our estate Vinci with large terrace. Volta is a beautiful property, ideal for a family with children or two couples who would like to travel to Tuscany together but still enjoy their privacy.

The two apartments have three bedrooms with double beds, a spacious kitchen-living room with wood stove, another living room with kitchenette and wood stove, a bathroom with bathtub and one with shower. Free WLAN and SAT/TV in both apartments, the terrace has deckchairs and garden furniture as well as a charcoal grill.

Not far from the holiday home is our private swimming lake for swimming, fishing and sunbathing as well as our restaurant Le Contrade with the Eldorado Bar and Pizzeria.

Special features

The Vinci Estate features lovingly-restored stone cottages with all modern conveniences clustered around our Ristorante Le Contrade, where we serve lunch and dinner daily, private swimming lake, which is exclusively available to our guests for swimming or fishing.

Holiday destination

Agriturismo Vinci is located in a picturesque region of Tuscany known as Chianti Classico, where world famous Chianti wines are produced. The village we are near, Gaiole in Chianti, is at the center of the original Chianti region, first defined in 1716.

The nearest village is Gaiole in Chianti (approx. 1 km away, with various shopping facilities). A short drive away are a surprising variety of historic castles and villages well worth a visit, Florence and Siena are both less than an hour away.

Getting there

If you are coming by car and have a GPS, enter "Via Guglielmo Marconi, Gaiole in Chianti, Italy". Coming from the north, take the autostrada A1 towards Rome. About 35 km after Florence, take the exit Val D'Arno (Valdarno) and drive in the direction of Montevarchi. Once in Montevarchi, follow the signs to Siena or Gaiole. It will take about 25 minutes to reach Gaiole.

Once in Gaiole, follow the main street through the village, and then follow the signs toward Barbischio onto Via Guglielmo Marconi. The entrance to our estate is about 500 meters from the center of Gaiole, marked by a "Vinci" / "Le Contrade" sign.
