Cozy and modernly furnished holiday home by the IJsselmeer, in immediate proximity to the beach. With three bedrooms, it accommodates up to 6 people. Our holiday home is regularly renovated and is equipped with a new bathroom and a new kitchen. The kitchen equipment is extensive and includes the usual appliances as well as an oven, a small freezer compartment, a separate microwave, and a Senseo coffee machine, alongside the filter machine.
The garden is fenced and has a gate leading to the boat dock. On the terrace, high-quality garden furniture and two deck chairs are available for your use. From there, you can enjoy the view of the water. A stand-up paddleboard and a small rowboat are at your disposal. In the storage room, there is a washing machine and a dryer. Moreover, the holiday park, where we privately rent out our house, offers various playgrounds, a soccer field, beach volleyball, and for a fee, an indoor pool and tennis courts. In the main building, there is a small restaurant and a boat rental service.
Modern and extensive amenities, close to the beach, private boat dock with access to an extensive network of canals, surfboard, paddleboat, child-friendly equipment (toys, high chair), satellite TV (German), Wi-Fi, washing machine, dryer.
Important!!! A double bed with a 1.60 m mattress (remember to bring a large fitted sheet when bringing your own bed linen)
The holiday home is regularly renovated and maintained by an excellent cleaning service.
During the main holiday seasons, it is only bookable by the week, with the changeover day being Friday!
DOGS are very welcome, however, certain rules must be observed.
The owner must ensure that the dog's stay in the house and garden leaves no traces.
In addition to the dog travel price of 40 euros (one-time), our cleaning service may charge additional fees if the cleaning time is significantly extended due to heavy soiling, such as dog hair on textiles (e.g., beds, sofa..).
PLEASE NOTE: The consumption costs of gas and electricity will be deducted from your deposit after your stay. The meters are read digitally and calculated with the current costs.
However, you can also submit the meter readings to us; this method is more transparent for you (note the instructions in the house upon arrival). In winter, you should expect energy costs of 20 to 28 euros per night, and in summer, about 5 euros. The costs are influenced by the number of people, the outside temperature, and heating behavior.

Medemblik is the smallest and oldest port city in North Holland. The holiday home is located in a beautifully situated holiday park right on the sandy beach of Medemblik (300m) and only a 10-minute walk from the cozy city center. Here you will also find the beautiful harbor as well as the internationally known regatta center. Attractions such as the Bonifacius Church, Radboud Castle, the windmill de Herder, and the steam engine museum are within walking distance. From the train station, you can take the historic steam tram to Hoorn. The North Sea with its wide sandy beaches, as well as Amsterdam, are about a 40-minute drive away.

In the event of cancellation by the tenant, the following costs will be incurred:
Up to 62 days before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
Up to 35 days before the start of the rental period: 40% of the rental price
Up to 21 days before the start of the rental period: 80% of the rental price
