Welcome to "Witt Huuske"
The front building has a separate living, dining and sleeping room as well as a reading corner. The apartment is designed for two persons, but two further guests are also catered for by a sofa bed in the living room, a spacious bathroom and sufficient dishes.
A highlight is the wooden beamed ceiling from 1890, which offers a harmonious atmosphere in contrast with the urban furniture. The real wood parquet flooring is heated from below and creates a healthy room climate with the floor-deep wooden windows.

In Campen, climbing the highest lighthouse in Germany is a highlight, as is a visit to the East Frisian Agricultural Museum; in nearby Emden there is a wellness bath with sauna landscape, as well as the art gallery with the Henri Nannen Foundation. The islands can be reached by ferry or plane from nearby towns.
In contrast to the hotspot Greetsiel, camping offers a high degree of tranquillity. There are endless cycle paths along the nearby dyke, while in the other direction you can stroll along the country lanes and see as far as the eye can see. But those who want to see something special will also get their money's worth.
Campen is home to the highest lighthouse in Germany, the East Frisian Agricultural Museum with café and a church dating back to the late 13th century.

Otherwise, the following cancellation conditions apply:
Cancellation is possible and must be made in writing. If the cancellation is only made shortly before arrival, compensation must be paid. This is graduated as follows:
28 - 22 days before the beginning of the rental period = 20% due
15 to 21 days before the start of the rental period = 40% due
8 to 14 days before the start of the rental period = 60% due
1 to 7 days before the start of the rental period = 90% due
Instead of your arrival you can also provide substitute tenants, who must be confirmed in writing by the landlord. Of course, we will also try to rent the flat out again and, if we are successful, we will deduct the compensation for damages or charge appropriate amounts. Nevertheless, we recommend to take out a travel cancellation insurance to be prepared for such a case.

Many memories hang on the village of Campen and especially on this house. My grandparents lived here for over 30 years. After my grandfather hadn't been with us for more than 10 years and my grandmother moved into a home last year, I took over the house together with my partner Maximilian and turned it into a holiday home, which hopefully will give many people a wonderful holiday. But also we are happy to be able to escape the big city life in Berlin every now and then and to find an old new home in Campen. It was especially important to us to design the house in a way that we feel comfortable with ourselves. Oak parquet flooring, wooden windows and a lot of light should create a healthy room climate. In addition, we contrasted the rustic look of the sanded-down wooden beam ceiling with stylish furniture. We hope that this mixture pleases not only us.
