The Chiemsee invites you to relax and do sports in spring, summer, autumn and winter. The next ski area is a good 30 minutes away. You may go sledging, skating and cross-country skiing too.
There are countless hiking and mountain bike trails nearby.
Beside the mountains you have the lake for kiting, sailing, surfing and stand up paddling.
Chieming has a long promenade, many bathing areas and numerous leisure activities. Our apartment is an ideal starting point for wonderful excursions into nature. The mountains are close, The apartment is located in a very quiet residential area, just a few minutes' walk from the lake, beach area and beach bars, cafes & restaurants, bakery, health food store & supermarket.
You may start excursions to the Herreninsel, Fraueninsel, to Salzburg or Munich easily.
Arriving by car: on the A8 between Munich and Salzburg: exit Grabenstätt. You will reach Chieming after seven kilometers
Arrival by train: train station Übersee or Traunstein .
The nearest airports are Salzburg and Munich.
