The cabin is cozily furnished for a lovely holiday. In winter, the tile stove offers delightful warmth.
There are 3 bedrooms (one with a balcony) with a total of 5 beds. An extra guest bed can be set up for a 6th person. The cabin has 2 bathrooms with a shower, toilet, and sink. A washing machine is in the ground floor bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need. The dining area has a table for 6 people. In the living room, there's a couch, cabinet, and TV. Balconies face south where you can enjoy the sun for extended periods.
Our cabin boasts a perfect location for hiking or skiing (right on the slopes) with the lift just a few minutes' walk away. You can leave your car parked and there's no need for the ski bus. The cabin is situated in a quiet area with only holiday cabins as neighbors. No through road. Cars are only from residents.

The tourist information is just an 8-minute walk away and provides information on everything there is to see in the surrounding area and at Falkert.
The cabin is located right on the hiking trail to the mountain peak or the other hiking paths. In Falkertsee, there is a clear mountain lake for cooling off. For fishermen, there's a fishing pond, and children will have a blast at the Heidi-Alm play world, themed around Heidi and Peter. In winter, the little ones (from 3 years old) are accompanied in the children's ski courses at Heidi Ski Park, just a 5-minute walk from our cabin. Wörthersee, Millstättersee, or Römerbad can be reached within 15 to 50 minutes by car.
Klagenfurt Airport or by car from Salzburg to Villach. Exit at Spittal/Millstättersee. Drive through Bad Kleinkirchheim to Falkertsee.

My love for Austria comes from my mother, who was Austrian. I love being in the mountains and visiting the variety of Carinthian lakes. It's wonderful to stay in a wooden cabin. I still live with my children in the Netherlands. But after my retirement, I hope to stay for a long time in Austria in the cabin.
