The holiday home is located in a side alley next to a small piazza in the center of the old town of Civezza. It is a typical Ligurian natural stone house.
The team of interior designers has created a magical place here. All rooms are very thoughtfully and precisely planned. All furniture, the bathroom, and the fitted kitchen were custom-built using very high-quality materials. Lovers of contemporary Italian design will be thrilled. Modern technology has been skillfully integrated into the ancient structure, and many beautiful historical details have been preserved. Guests can feel the history without sacrificing comfort.
The small house actually consists of only two rooms: a spacious kitchen-living room with a sleeping loft and a bathroom with a shower. The sofa bed in the kitchen offers two additional sleeping places.
Next to the house runs an extremely narrow alley, called Caruggio in Ligurian. It is said that if one wanted to kiss a girl, one would stand in the Caruggio and wait. The alley is so narrow that one could easily, almost accidentally, steal a kiss. Hence the name of the alley: Caruggio Baciadonne and also the name of the house.
Casa Baciadonne is not a property for guests seeking peace and seclusion. Here you live right in the middle and can enjoy the real Italianità .
Guests have access to satellite TV and unlimited internet access. The kitchen is very well equipped, and of course, there is also a washing machine.
In the colder season, the house is heated with gas heating, which is paid for according to consumption.
You can park on one of the public, free parking spaces in the village.

Civezza is perched on a hill ridge in the hinterland of San Lorenzo al Mare. Along the village, you'll find 5 so-called Saracen towers, bastions built centuries ago for spotting and defending against pirate invasions.
The old town consists of a labyrinth of alleys known as Caruggi, stairs, and small squares. In the village, there is a good pizzeria "le Cinque Torri", two grocery stores, a minimarket open daily on the main road from the sea to Civezza, a post office, and a pharmacy.
During the summer, numerous festivals, music concerts, and tastings of local specialties are organized in Civezza.
There are free public parking spaces in various areas, one of which is located 50 meters from our houses.
The nearest seaside resort, San Lorenzo al Mare, just 2 km away, has beautiful, free sandy beaches. There's no entry fee required, you can rent sun loungers, but it's not mandatory.
The small old town, ending in a palm-lined promenade, has some good restaurants, bars, shops, and very good ice cream parlors, small but exquisite. From our many years of experience, we can say that even in August, you can easily find parking in San Lorenzo. From here, the newly developed "Pistaciclabile" - Europe's longest cycle path on the old railway line - runs directly along the sea to well beyond San Remo. You can comfortably rent bicycles in San Lorenzo; the route is completely car-free, without major elevation changes, and is also suitable for children. Child seats can also be rented for the bicycles.
In the summer, a shuttle bus runs between Civezza and the sea (San Lorenzo al Mare).
Those who prefer mountain biking will find very beautiful and scenic routes from Casa Maria through Civezza to Santa Brigida and further up to Monte Faudo (1149 m).
The provincial capital, Imperia, is only 8 km away. Along the sea towards Imperia-Porto Maurizio, there are a lot of interesting places, including "Sarri" with a Michelin star. On the promenade, you will find many beaches, both private and public. It's worth walking a bit further to see one of the most beautiful corners of Imperia: the small fishing harbor Borgo Foce. Above it towers the old town district: Il Parasio.
Imperia consists of two parts, Porto Maurizio and Oneglia. In Oneglia, located further east, you will find a second port, some very clean pebble beaches, and many interesting shops. Those who want to go shopping head to Oneglia. In both parts of the town, beautiful, large weekly markets take place. The details can be found on my homepage under "Information".
