The house is located in a beautiful holiday park by the Ijsselmeer, just a few meters from the beach. It's an ideal spot for families with children and dogs, in our opinion, perfect for a vacation. We offer extensive children's equipment (from board games and entertainment for rainy days to a baby bouncer/high chair, as well as a Bobby car/tricycle and beach toys).
Our dock invites you to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset, and of course, a grill is also available.
We want our guests to lack nothing.
From your own jetty, you can take the boat directly to the IJsselmeer.
Rentals from April to October are only possible from Friday to Friday, during the winter months from 3 nights.

The beach is very popular with water sports enthusiasts, with several surf schools and water sports shops available. Here you can go windsurfing, kitesurfing, or explore the area with a SUP.
Those who prefer to stay on land can explore the surrounding beautiful towns and villages (Workum, Harlingen, Piam, etc.) by bicycle or arrange to go shopping in Sneek or Leeuwarden.
The holiday home is located in the charming little town of Makkum by the Ijsselmeer. The beach is within walking distance. Along the beach promenade, you will find café/restaurants, a fish stall, an ice cream parlor, and various shops.
The town of Makkum itself can be reached either on foot (30-45min) or by bicycle. There, you will find numerous restaurants, ice cream parlors, grocery stores, a drugstore, a butcher, a bakery, etc., everything you need for daily life.
A bicycle/boat rental is available around the holiday park.
Public transport is available, with a bus stop located right in front of the holiday park. If you're arriving by car, there are two parking spaces available directly at the house (the holiday park is only accessible with a barrier card).

The tenant may withdraw from the rental agreement before the start of the rental period by providing a written statement to the landlord. The date of receipt of the withdrawal statement by the landlord is decisive. If the tenant withdraws from the rental agreement, the following fees will be charged:
Withdrawal up to the 45th day before the start of the rental period 35% of the agreed rental amount
Withdrawal from 44 days to 35 days before the start of the rental period 45% of the agreed rental amount
Withdrawal from 34 days to 22 days before the start of the rental period 70% of the agreed rental amount
Withdrawal from 21 days to 11 days before the start of the rental period 80% of the agreed rental amount
Withdrawal from 10 days to 1 day before the start of the rental period 90% of the agreed rental amount
In case of no-show without a written cancellation, 100% of the agreed rental price will be charged.
The landlord may terminate the lease agreement before or after the start of the rental period without notice if the tenant, despite prior warning, fails to make the agreed payments (deposit, final payment, and security deposit) on time or otherwise behaves in such a way that continuation of the contract is unreasonable for the landlord. In this case, the landlord may demand compensation from the tenant for the expenses incurred up to the termination and for lost profits.
