Palazzo Carletto is located within the ancient castle walls of a small village in the heart of Umbria, 15km south of Perugia.
Within walking distance in the village, there is a bar and just a few minutes away by car, you can find numerous supermarkets, dining options, etc.
Situated in nature yet perfectly accessible: Paved roads lead to the house, a bus stop is nearby, the E45 is not far away, and all destinations are quickly reachable by car.
Water sports enthusiasts and fishermen are just half an hour away from Lake Trasimeno.

Host informationWe are a family from Germany and have used our house exclusively for private purposes for a long time. Now, we rent it out during the times when we cannot be in Italy ourselves. Of course, we are always available by phone for our guests, and we also have a local contact (Italian, English) who can be reached directly or through us, so that any difficulties etc. can be resolved immediately. We are also happy to give you tips for excursions, help with organizing a rental car or airport transfer,... Would you like to experience something special? Desire a private chef? Dreaming of a hot air balloon ride? We are happy to assist you with our numerous local partners to make your vacation the best time of the year.

Schönes Haus, aber innen sehr warm und viel Umgebungslärm, darunter ein Schäferhund, der Tag und Nacht heftig bellt. Es gibt keine funktionierenden Ventilatoren im Haus (das sonst sehr gut ausgestattet ist), was bei +35 Grad unbedingt erforderlich ist. Wir haben es selbst gekauft und am zweiten Tag eine E-Mail an die Eigentümerin geschickt, um zu fragen, ob sie es übernehmen möchte, damit zukünftige Gäste es auch nutzen können. Frau Thiele hat darauf nicht geantwortet. Im Vorfeld dieses Aufenthalts war es schwierig, mit ihr zu kommunizieren, ich musste jedes Mal eine Erinnerung an meine E-Mails senden und es dauerte lange, bis ich eine Antwort erhielt. Ich habe keine Telefonnummer erhalten und wir fragten uns, ob wirklich etwas nicht stimmte, z. B. ein Brand oder ähnliches, wie wir uns hätten melden sollen.

Wir haben als Familie (mit 4 Teenagern im Alter von 17-19 Jahren) einen wunderbaren Urlaub in diesem tollen Haus verbracht. Es ist mit Allem was man braucht ausgestattet und der Pool ist ein Traum. Im großzügigen Garten hat, wenn man es möchte, jeder eine Ecke für sich und dennoch kann man gemeinsame Spieleabende unter der schön beleuchteten Pergola verbringen...
Wir danken auch der liebevollen Betreuerin, durch die wir uns sofort willkommen und wohl gefühlt haben.
Alles in allem ein extrem erholsamer Urlaub in einer wunderschönen Umgebung.
