Fantastic hiking and super e-bike paths and cross-country ski runs start right at the house. The natural garden with a view of the Feldberg offers many quiet spots to sunbathe, linger, and read. The apartment in a high-quality, modern chalet style invites you to walk barefoot. That’s how we live ourselves. And we wouldn’t offer our guests anything less. The traditional, cosy tiled stove complements the modern bistro dining area. The Black Forest tiled stove sauna with the hand-chopped boards made from old wood harmonises perfectly with the high-quality bathroom with the Sensowash shower toilet made in the Black Forest by Duravit and the walk-in shower. The 100-year-old, restored Art Nouveau cupboard in the bedroom goes well with the four-poster bed made by hand from healthy wood. We give you the starry sky.
The village centre is only a 10-minute walk away. With the train and the card offered free of charge, you can take the beautiful Three Lakes Railway to Freiburg and many other beautiful places. The excellent network of train, bus, and boat allows e-bike tours and hikes in one direction; it is always easy and comfortable to get back to your starting point. I offer my guests e-bikes and the Hochschwarzwald free of charge. This also includes all trips by bus, train, and boat as well as a BMW i3 for trips to the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen, to the weekly market in Freiburg, and a number of other worthwhile excursion destinations. In addition to many other free admissions and discounts, entry to the Titisee bathing paradise is included.
