The house is located in the Prato Magno nature reserve, whose highest peak (1592m) can be reached on foot during a day trip. The location is strategically convenient for visiting the cities of Florence, Arezzo, Siena, as well as the Chianti region. The Vallombrosa nature reserve, with Italy's tallest tree, is easily accessible by car.
