Washing machine and dryer. The apartment is equipped with a heat pump, which means it's wonderfully warm in winter and pleasantly cool in summer. Brakestein is energy-neutral, as the energy is generated by solar panels on the barn. There is a bicycle shed for shared use.

There is a terrace at the front of the apartment and a private terrace in the shared garden at the back of the farm. The livestock area is not accessible.
For shared use, there is a charging station for electric cars. Please bring your own bedding for the cot.

Stolphof Brakestein is situated at a very beautiful, historically significant location on Skillepaadje at the foot of the De Hoge Berg nature reserve. Opposite the farm are the Wezenputten (Orphan Wells), which were owned by the orphanage in Den Burg. The orphanage sold water to the VOC ships that departed from the Reede of Texel. Due to the high iron content, the water could be kept longer during the voyage. The old cash box, in which the proceeds from the water sale were kept, can be viewed at the Museum Kaap Skil.
Via the Skillepaadje, you can reach the harbor village of Oudeschild in 5 minutes by bike. The main town Den Burg is 1.5 km away.
In the historic Stolphof, three brand new apartments were realized in 2021. Apartment A is located at the front side. Behind the Stolphof is the beef cattle business of the same owners.

1. In the event of a cancellation by the guest, the guest owes Texelduinen a cancellation fee. In addition to the due reservation fee, the following cancellation fees must be paid:
In the event of a cancellation up to forty-two (42) days before the arrival date: thirty percent (30%) of the price*
In the event of a cancellation from the forty-second (42nd) day up to and including the twenty-eighth (28th) day before the arrival date: sixty percent (60%) of the price*
In the event of a cancellation from the twenty-eighth (28th) day up to the day of arrival: ninety percent (90%) of the price*
In the event of a cancellation on the day of arrival: one hundred percent (100%) of the price*
(* Tourist tax, costs for bed linen and cleaning are not to be paid as part of the price in the event of a cancellation.)
2. The guest must make the cancellation in writing (by letter or email).
