Holiday destination
The (peninsula) island of Nordstrand "green heart of the Wadden Sea" is located in the "Wadden Sea World Heritage Site", in the midst of the unique World of Holms and surrounded by nature reserves. The individual holms and islands can be visited by ship from Nordstrand. Nordstrand has a well laid out cycling and walking network. The nearest restaurant is about 500 m from the house. The nearest town on the mainland is Husum, home of Theodor Storms (The Rider on the White Horse).
Getting there
Coming from Hamburg: drive towards Husum, then towards Nordstrand, turn left on the second street in Nordstrand, drive about 6 km and turn right on the 5th street, Eesbüll 11 You've arrived at your destination.

Wir hatten uns mitten im Februar für einen Kurzurlaub in dieser wunderschönen Ferienwohnung entschieden. Dass wir uns für diese Wohnung entschieden haben, war perfekt. Sie ist liebevoll bis ins letzte Detail eingerichtet und es mangelt an nichts. Besonders der kleine Kaminofen sorgte für wohlige Stunden am Abend nach langen Spaziergängen bei Wind und Wetter. Wir können diese Wohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Wir fangen mal hinten an. Abreise war eine Katastrophe, weil keine Verlängerung möglich war. Für Liebhaber des norddeutschen Charmes und der Fischköppe an sich ein Ort, an dem man nicht vorbeikommt. Sowohl Aktivurlaub (wers mag) als auch Urlaub absolut ist machbar von einer Base, die auch auf Nordstrand ihresgleichen sucht. Wer sich hier nicht wohlfühlt, ist durch nichts zufriedenzustellen. Eine liebevolle, unkomplizierte und ganz tolle Vermieterin, eine Unterkunft zum Wohlfühlen. Egal was der Wetterhannes auch grad vorhat. Überall hin kurze Wege, was man bekommt ist gut, was man nicht bekommt braucht man auch nicht. Es gibt so viel zu entdecken, dafür reicht die (Urlaubs-)Zeit nicht. Also auf jeden Fall nächstes Jahr wieder! Um es in abgewandter Form zu sagen: Ich will zurück nach Nordstrand! Danke Ulla!
