Chiavari has a large yacht marina and a boardwalk with fountains and gardens by the sea, many bars, cafés and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Foodies love Chiavari with its fresh produce market, bakers, fresh pasta, ice creams etc... then walk the Cinque Terre trails.
    Holiday destination
    Chiavari is a large old city by the sea and an ideal centre for exploring Genoa , Aquarium, ancient noble palaces, theatres, and old port where Cristoforo Columbus lived. Cinque Terre by train or boat just 15 minutes away Santa Margherita, Rapallo and Zoagli are near Portofino, beautiful little port with beautiful people and their super yachts - or sit on the harbour wall with an icecream or walk on Portofino mountain. Sestri, 4 kms east of Chiavari, has the romantic sandy Bay of Silence. Take a train from Chiavari to the Cinque Terre and walk back along the stunning cliff path through the ancient vineyards. Or just enjoy Chiavari...

    Nearest international airports Genoa, Milan, Pisa or Nizza. Intercity trains to Chiavari from Milan, Genoa, Nizza, Pisa. Car rental advised but not essential. Footpath down to Chiavari 10 mins walk, bus service from top of lane to town, boat services from Chiavari to Portofino, 5Terre etc

    Es war fantastisch, Haus, Areal und Lage wunderschön WLAN perfekt Wein und Olivenöl sehr lecker. Vermieterin Jennifer sehr sympathisch. Wir kommen wieder Vielen Dank Jennifer und hoffentlich bis bald. Viele Grüße Ilona und Familie

    Wir haben uns für 10 Tage im März in dem Casa Bianca in Chiavari mit unseren erwachsenen Kindern getroffen. Für uns war der Aufenthalt dort optimal. Alle hatten genug Platz, das Haus liegt in einem wunderschönen Olivengarten am Hang mit herrlicher Morgensonne. Die Zimmer ist sind sehr, sehr schön, schlicht, hell, freundlich, sauber. Es gibt drei sehr schöne Badezimmer, eine Waschküche, eine große Küche, die zum Kochen einlädt. Chiavari ist fußläufig zu erreichen und hat unzählige Bäcker, Restaurants, Bars, Pastamanufakturen, kleine Läden - also alles, was man in einem Italienurlaub erwartet. Ausflüge sind sehr gut möglich und vor allem ohne Auto realisierbar, da die Bahn in die Cinque Terre (und darüberhinaus) oder nach Genua fährt. Schönsten Wanderungen auf den Küstenwanderwegen steht also nichts im Wege.
