Book Fish Picnic trip to one of nearby islands, or learn to dive in one of local diving centers. Visit National Park Krka and Plitvice Lakes. Trogir, Split and Šibenik are recommended for tourists interested in culture and historical heritage.
Holiday destination
Apartment Palm Beach 1 is situated in Okrug Gornji on Ciovo, which is an island connected by bridge with mainland. So, basically it is island and mainland at the same time. You can go normally, without any payment, to mainland, Trogir or to any other town with your car through bridge which is open 24 hours a day. From Okrug Gornji you can go to Trogir, beside by car, by bus and by boat. Trogir is 4 km far from OkrugGornji and Split is only 27 km far. Trogir and Split are well known cultural and tourist cities in Croatia with numerous sights to see and events to visit. In OkrugGornji you also have diving Centre, tennis courts and fitness center. There are also various restaurants so I am sure you will find what you like since you have it all from Dalmatian cousin to pizza place here.
Getting there
When arriving from Split airport drive in the direction of Trogir, pass Ciovo bridge, turn right, and drive to Okrug Gornji. You can also take a taxi or shuttle bus right at the airport. We will gladly arrange a private transfer from/to the Split airport upon request.
