Description

A fully equipped holiday apartment with 6 beds in 3 bedrooms, newly designed bathroom with shower, toilet, fully equipped kitchen, and a south-facing balcony offering a breathtaking view of the opposite Italian mountains warmly welcomes you here. Here, in the tranquility of the Carinthian mountains, you can let your soul dangle. The access via our private road is only used by our house guests. You are self-catering here, but if needed, we are also happy to help out. House-trained pets are also welcome here. A baby cot can be provided free of charge if needed. For detailed questions, you are welcome to clarify with us in advance.

Special features

A paved and concrete road, 2 km long and partly quite steep, leads to our house, which is situated on a quiet hiking trail below the mountain forest. Self-arrival with your own vehicle is required. Depending on the season. Mountain hiking. Rafting on the Gail, only 3 KM away. Nearby ski resorts: Kötschach-Mauthen, Obertilliach, Nassfeld. And of course, water sports on the countless lakes here in Carinthia. Adventure pools in Kötschach-Mauthen, 13 Km away. Or Arta Therme on the Italian side. Scenic flights at the airfield in Nikolsdorf, or excursions to the Grossglockner, Austria's highest mountain, or to the nearby Puster Valley and the Dolomites. And so much more to discover here in the Lesachtal.

Holiday destination

With a fantastic view stretching to the Klagenfurt Basin, Slovenia, and Italy, you will be rewarded upon reaching our house situated at an altitude of 1220 meters. Our mountain house is peacefully located just below the mountain forest in the "most pristine valley in Europe." Nestled in the nature of Lesachtal, it's not far to the Grossglockner or the Italian Dolomites, and even a trip to Klagenfurt or the Adriatic Sea is just a stone's throw away by car. Or simply take a hike on our surrounding mountains.

Getting there

From Germany take the A7, Reutte, Fernpass, Innsbruck, Brenner, Brixen, Pustertal, Sillian, Lesachtal, Birnbaum, Kornat.
(Buy the vignette in time at the gas station, from the A12 motorway towards Innsbruck toll is required). The Brenner also from the toll station Schönberg, and then at the Italian toll booth take a ticket and at the exit in Brixen at the toll booth pay a few Euros.

Or take the A8, Munich, Kufstein, Kitzbühel, Mittersill, Felbertauern Tunnel (subject to toll), Matrei, Lienz, Oberdrauburg, Kötschach-Mauthen, Lesachtal, Birnbaum, Kornat.

Erholung pur für Mensch und Tier!

Wir sind mit unseren zwei Ridgebackdamen angereist und unsere Erwartungen wurden vollkommen übertroffen. Neben der malerischen Aussicht auf die Berge und der Wanderwege muss vor allem die Gastfreundlichkeit von Jürgen, Dolores und der kleinen Bubu hervorgehoben werden. Wer von der stressigen Gesellschaft abgeschottet sein möchte, macht Urlaub im Lesachtal. Tiefschlaf hat für uns eine ganz neue Bedeutung bekommen. Ja, die Fahrerei ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber irgendwas muss man ja zu meckern haben. Wer auch mal das Auto nehmen möchte, um andere Ziele zu erreichen, hat es gar nicht weit. Ob nach Italien zur Adria, zu den Dolomiten, zum Weissensee oder Lienz, alles möglich in einer akzeptablen Zeit. Wir werden wiederkommen, da Erholung garantiert ist. Vielen Dank für die tolle und erholsame Zeit.

Superurlaub im Berghaus-Lesachtal

Nach einer atemberaubenden Fahrt auf den Berg, für die es einen coolen Fahrer bedarf, erwartete uns ein magischer Platz mit einer atemberaubenden Fernsicht ins Lesachtal und ins Hochgebirge Richtung Italien. Ein Platz so schön, um einfach nur da zu sein und zu genießen. Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl in der F'whg. mit modernen Bad, großer Küche mit TV, den bequemen Betten und dem gemütlichen Wohn-zimmer mit TV und den großen Balkon, der zum Lieblingsplatz wurde. Auch ein Fernglas ist da. Vom ersten Augenblick an, fühlten wir uns in eine herzliche Gemeinschaft aufgenommen, die wir in 4 Generationen kennenlernen durften. Der Hausherr gab viele Tipps für Ausflüge+wir hatten sehr nette Gespräche mit den Gastgebern. Die Haushunde sind alle lieb, besonders Teddy der schwarze Schäfer-hund. Fazit: Ein tolles Berghaus!!

Wir haben gerade eine Woche im Berghaus Lesachtal verbracht.Das Haus befindet sich in einer einzigartigen Lage.Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist einmalig.Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.Man erhält tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen und auf Wünsche wird eingegangen.Die Ferienwohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sauber und gemütlich.Es ist nichts zusammen gewürfelt,wie man es oft in anderen Ferienwohnungen erlebt.Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und man kann sich erholen und prima schlafen.Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen.
An die zum Teil steile An-bzw Abfahrt gewöhnt man sich schnell.
Wir können das Berghaus uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.
