Villa de Duintop (12 persons)
Villa de Duintop in Bergen aan Zee is a real Dutch and attractive family holiday home, uniquely located high on a dune and in the middle of a dune garden of 6000 m2, with fantastic views all around! It dates from 1952 and has recently been renovated with great care while retaining its special character. The paved driveway leads to a spacious square with parking for a few cars, from there a stone staircase leads to the front door.
Upstairs there is a wide view over Parnassia Park, the village and the sea. From the rooms at the rear and the large south-facing terrace, a surprising and for Dutch standards unique, unobstructed panoramic view over thousands of hectares of North Holland Dune Reserve, where herds of wild horses and cattle roam. In the distance is Egmond and on a clear day you can also see the successive coastal villages and the lighthouses at night.
With the bath bag and shovels it is only a five minute walk to the beach, for a sunbath, sand castle, dip or long walk; same distance to the village for the newspaper and fresh bread rolls. With its petting zoo, playground, nature museum, aviary, duck pond and miniature golf, Parnassia Park offers a wonderful and well-organized play area for children .
On the ground floor there is a spacious south-west facing lounge (600 x 650), with fireplace and large windows, leading into the dining room (360 x 400). The adjacent renovated kitchen is equipped with a Bosch dishwasher, Samsung side by side American fridge/freezer, Boretti gas stove with wide electric oven, Nespresso, microwave and a granite countertop with double sink.
The living room, dining room and kitchen have patio doors to the spacious south-facing terrace (125 m2). There is also a toilet on the ground floor, and one double bedroom (510 x 340) on the east with its own small bathroom with sink and shower, and underfloor heating.
On the first floor is the master bedroom (600 x 400) on the southwest with walk-in closet and balcony and adjacent bathroom (350 x 175) with bath, separate shower and sink, and underfloor heating. Also in the hallway is a separate shower and separate toilet and three double bedrooms (390 x 400, 300 x 400, 300 x 350), two on the south and one on the east, each with two single beds and its own washbasin. All bedrooms have box springs with pocket sprung mattresses and synthetic (and in summer cotton) duvets.
On the second floor is the sixth bedroom (270 x 580) with two single beds and its own sink. In the basement is the laundry cellar with Miele washing machine and dryer, and indoor and outdoor drying lines.
In the former garage is a large ping-pong table. On the property are two swings and a sandbox. Cot, high chairs and playpen are available. The house has central heating, double glazing, a boiler for hot water, cable TV and wireless internet.
Villa De Duintop is very practical and comfortable for families with (young) children, but not very suitable for wheelchairs due to the (outside) stairs. For a carefree typical Dutch beach holiday with the whole family, Villa De Duintop is a perfect choice!

The cancellation by the tenant must always be made in writing (by post or email). A cancellation is only valid if the tenant has received confirmation within the deadline.
The following rules apply:
3 Cancellation by Renter
3.1 A cancellation by the tenant must always be made in writing (by post or email). Upon receipt of the cancellation, Villa BaZ will send a cancellation confirmation and invoice to the email address provided by the tenant.
3.2 If canceled up to forty-two (42) days before the arrival date, the renter owes fifty percent (50%) of the rental amount plus booking amount
3.3 If canceled on the forty-second (42nd) day or less before the arrival date, the renter owes one hundred percent (100%) of the rental amount plus booking amount
3.4 In the event of cancellation fourteen (14) days or less before the day of arrival or if the tenant does not arrive on the day of arrival or if the tenant does not use the holiday home fully for the agreed rental period (early departure), the tenant owes the full invoice amount (100%) .
3.5 All amounts paid by the tenant will be offset against the amount owed by the cancellation, resulting in a cancellation invoice to be paid by the tenant within two (2) weeks after Villa BaZ has sent the cancellation invoice to the email address . Villa BaZ must refund credits within the same period of two (2) weeks.
3.6 Canceled reservations can be transferred to third parties in consultation with Villa BaZ.
3.7 Villa BaZ strongly recommends taking out travel cancellation insurance.
4 Cancellation by Villa BaZ
4.1 In the unlikely event that the holiday home booked by the tenant is or becomes unavailable, Villa BaZ and the landlord are entitled to provide the tenant with equivalent or better alternative accommodation to be determined by Villa BaZ and the landlord. In this case, the tenant cannot sue the landlord in court.
Tourist tax 2,20 euros per person per night
Deposit 500 euros per stay
