Our spacious holiday apartment, facing south towards the inner courtyard, is located on the 1st floor of the well-known "Amelander Paradijs" - and of course, there is an elevator!
Flooded with light, the 75 sqm offer ample space for 4 people. The cozy living room is equipped with a generous sofa and includes a flat smart TV. We receive almost all German channels.
The very nice and practical kitchenette is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, a refrigerator with freezer compartment, and a coffee machine - here, you can prepare both multi-course meals and quick bites.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms. The blackout curtains in both rooms ensure that it can be completely darkened if desired. In the 1st bedroom, you will find a box spring bed measuring 1.80 x 2.00 m. A flat TV is also part of the equipment, as is direct access to the balcony. The 2nd bedroom has two single box spring beds, 90 x 2.00 m, and also a flat TV.
The modern bathroom is equipped with a large shower 90 x 1.00 m and an extra-large washbasin. A towel radiator provides cozy warmth. The toilet is located separately next to the bathroom.
With us, you surf the WLAN for free. Ample parking spaces are also available free of charge, as are charging facilities for e-bikes.

Ameland is known for its many beautiful cycling paths. A bicycle rental shop (about 100 meters away) offers an excellent selection of various bikes for you.

For our youngest guests, there is a playground in our 2000 square meter indoor garden.
For the older children, we have a separate playground next to the building and, additionally, during the high season, a 3000 square meter playing field for volleyball or football - also perfectly suitable for flying kites.
Our apartment Dünenloft 53 is located in the famous Amelander Paradijs in the town of Buren. Buren is situated in the east on the beautiful island of Ameland, also known as "Waddendiamant Ameland." The town offers you shops, restaurants, and cafés. An indoor swimming pool, as well as a supermarket, are also available and within a few minutes' walk. Here, both young and old will enjoy a great bowling area and the opportunity to play mini-golf. Buren is surrounded by meadows and nature reserves and is just a few hundred meters from the expansive sandy beach.

Arriving at the ferry terminal in Holwerd is convenient by car from all directions. If you wish to take your car to the island, we recommend making a car reservation in advance at www.wpd.nl.
If you prefer to travel by train, your usual destination station is Leeuwarden - from there, you can quickly and comfortably take a taxi to Holwerd for about 40 euros, or even more affordably by bus. The taxi ride takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic, while the bus journey takes around 50 minutes.
