The house was built in 1927 and impresses with a combination of an old captain's villa and modernity. The extensive use of wood and the large wooden staircase creates a very cosy atmosphere in the house.
It is divided into two floors, with the holiday flat on the ground floor. The garden invites you to take a break in the beach chair or to have a barbecue with the gas grill when the weather is nice. The fully equipped kitchen also invites you to prepare delicious meals even outside the barbecue season. Bicycles can be stored in the lockable garage. The entire property is enclosed by a Frisian wall. Parking is possible in the driveway in front of the garage, as well as in the public parking bays along the road.
"Der Segler" has a fully equipped kitchen with induction cooker, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, pad coffee machine, toaster, hand mixer, scales, kettle and an extendable table with six chairs.
There is a TV in the living room and in both bedrooms. WLAN is available free of charge. Board games, crime thrillers and novels are provided. In the master bedroom is a 1.80 x 2.00 m box spring bed and a walk-in wardrobe, as well as an ironing board and iron. In the second bedroom is a 0.90 x 2.00 m bed, which can optionally be extended to a 1.80 x 2.00 m double bed, as well as a wardrobe and a small desk with chair. As an alternative, the sofa bed can be used as a second bed.
In the living room there is a large L-shaped sofa and a wing chair with leg stool. The daylight bathroom is equipped with a 0.86 x 1.30 m shower with low entry height and towel radiator. There is also a WC, as well as a large washstand with mirror and hairdryer. The individual rooms are accessible via the central hallway.
The entire flat (except the bathroom) has a light parquet floor and is a non-smoking flat. The living rooms are west-facing and have a lot of daylight. The ground floor/high ground floor flat can be reached via seven steps. The garden faces east and protects the possible lounge area with a privacy fence. Here you will also find the beach chair and the receptacle for the rotary clothes dryer. The lockable garage houses a gas barbecue, garden furniture and the rotary dryer. There is also the possibility to safely store bicycles. In the basement, with a ceiling height of approx. 1.70 m, there is also a washing machine and a dryer. A parking space is available in front of the garage driveway.

The holiday flat "Der Segler" is located in a quiet neighbourhood on the north-eastern outskirts of Barth, about 200 m from the town harbour. Within a radius of 600 m, shopping facilities, ATMs, doctors, pharmacies, as well as restaurants and cafés are within walking distance. The beaches on Fischland-Darß, for example, can be reached via the well-developed cycle network. In addition, excursions to the surrounding Hanseatic cities or to the islands of Rügen and Usedom are possible.
The arrival is possible by car via the A20 from Hamburg or Berlin, exits Sanitz or Rostock.
Arriving by train is possible by ICE to Velgast. You can also reach the train station in Barth directly by regional train.

Right of withdrawal of the tenant
a) The tenant can withdraw from the contract at any time until the beginning of the service booked by him by a written declaration to the landlord and not to the agent.
b) If the tenant withdraws from the contract or does not make use of the service booked by him, his obligation to pay the agreed price remains in principle. The tenant shall only have the right to withdraw free of charge if this has been expressly agreed with the landlord.
c) The landlord will endeavour to find another use for the holiday accommodation within the scope of his normal business operations, although he is not obliged to make any special efforts to find another use.
d) Should the holiday accommodation be used for another purpose, the landlord shall take this into account. If it was not possible to find another use for the accommodation, the landlord must take into account the expenses saved.
e) According to the percentages recognised by case law for the assessment of saved expenses, the tenant shall pay the following flat-rate cancellation fees to the landlord - based on the total price including all ancillary costs, but excluding public charges not incurred (e.g. visitor's tax):
until the 31st day before the start of occupancy: 10%.
from the 30th to the 21st day before the start of occupancy: 30%.
from the 20th to the 11th day before the start of occupancy: 60%.
from the 10th day before the start of occupancy and in the event of no-show: 80%.
The date of receipt of the cancellation notice by the landlord is decisive for compliance with the deadlines.
There are additional costs for the tourist tax.
