The 60 m² 2-room apartment "Fewo Martha" is located in the town of Maccagno on the Lombard lakeside, on the first floor. The apartment consists of a large living and dining area with satellite TV and radio. The holiday apartment includes a bedroom with a double bed, a sofa bed in the living room, a small fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The loggia balcony with awning offers a fantastic lake view. The apartment is well suited for up to 4 people. In front of the building, there is a parking space that belongs to the apartment.
The holiday apartment is just 100m walking distance from the bathing beach. The town of Maccagno offers various restaurants and bars, supermarket, boat dock, post office, train station. It features a 1.5 km long lakeside promenade with various swimming opportunities and water sports.
Surrounding beautiful cities invite you to linger. The landscape is perfect for hiking.
Coming from Germany, take the motorway through Switzerland to Bellinzona-Süd. There, turn towards Lago Maggiore/Locarno. At Quartino, in the roundabout, turn towards Luino – Gambarogno. After the border at Dirinella/Zenna, it's another 12 km to Maccagno. In Maccagno, stay on the main road towards Luino, cross the Giona river and go under the railway bridge. Then immediately take the first road on the right (Casa Martha, cemetery). Before the cemetery, turn left up to the intersection with Via G. Berti, turn right there and after about 200 meters turn into the first small street (Via XXV Aprile). At the next intersection, the residence "Tre Palme" with its holiday apartments is right in front of you.
Another way to get there is via Lugano-Nord or Lugano-Süd. From there, follow the signs towards Ponte Tresa. In Ponte Tresa, before the Italian border station, turn right towards Luino. Cross the border at Fornasette. In Luino, drive down to the roundabout at the lake and turn right towards Maccagno. Once you have reached Maccagno, turn left at the Concordia restaurant into Via XXV Aprile and drive through to the arch on the right. In front of you on the left side is the residence "Tre Palme".
