Our large harbour is popular for fishermen. We are happy to organise city tours in Dresden or bus trips to Prague.
Holiday destination
The central location is greatly appreciated by our regular guests. Both Bad Schandau and Königstein are 3 km away and Dresden is 45 km away. The Elbe Cycle Route goes by the house. There is a cycle hire in town. You can go up and down the Elbe with the old paddle steamers, for we are fortunate to have a jetty for the Saxon Steamboat Company. It is the oldest fleet of paddle steamers in the world. Bad Schandau is worth a visit; a ride with the historical passenger lift to the Ostrau district, the "Kirnitzschtalbahn" historical tram, the Tuscan thermal baths, the national park house and and and...

Liebe Familie Schrot, vielen Dank für die wunderschöne Woche bei Ihnen. Es hat uns sehr sehr gut gefallen..... Die Wohnung hat alles was man benötigt um mit einer Familie gut klar zu kommen... Die sonnen Terrasse .... Traumhaft..... Die Gegend der wahnsinn.....Haben viel erlebt und viel gesehen.... Selbst unsere grossen Kinder waren begeistert...... Die Brötchen waren Mega lecker und die Geburtstagsüberraschung war mehr als lieb... Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.... Kleiner tip..... Vielleicht kann man im Wohnraum die fenster mit fliegengitter ausstatten.... Störende Fliegen können so nachts draußen bleiben. Ihnen und ihrer Familie alles Gute.... Bleiben Sie gesund.

Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Die Betten und die Couchgarnitur waren sehr gemütlich, in der Küche fehlte es an nichts. Ein Knaller für die Kinder war das Schlafzimmer im Dachfirst und der tolle Brötchenservice. Dazu noch der WLAN-Empfang und der moderne Fernseher. Im Aussenbereich gab es eine kleine Terrasse, auf der man die letzten Sonnenstrahlen des Tages genießen konnte. Einfach klasse. Der Standort Prossen ist schön zentral. Von hier aus kann man innerhalb kürzester Zeit viele Ausflugsziele erreichen, was sehr angenehm war. Herzlichen Dank noch einmal bei Familie Schrot, die sich sehr fürsorglich und freundlich um uns kümmerte und gerne mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand, wenn man sich nach Tipps oder Ausflugzielen erkundigte. Die Zeit haben wir sehr genossen.
