The quaint and cozy Almhaus Romana is situated at approximately 1700 meters above sea level and accommodates a maximum of 2-4 people (2 bedrooms).
The cozy wellness area with the Swiss pine sauna can be accessed via the exterior staircase (basement level). Here too, a wood stove provides comfortable warmth while you enjoy the view of the alpine landscape from the relaxation loungers.
Smoking is not permitted throughout the entire house. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

Hiking trails and alpine meadows, restaurants and snack huts, via ferratas, the ski and sports school, an illuminated toboggan run, and of course a small ski area with rope tows as well as cross-country ski trails.
Approximately 15-20 minutes' drive away are larger ski areas such as Bad Kleinkirchheim or Turracher Höhe.
As well as Lake Millstatt or Lake Ossiach.
From Germany, take the A8 towards Munich, then the A10 Tauern motorway towards Villach. Take the Millstätter See Nord exit (note: the exit is on the LEFT from the motorway). Pass through the towns of Seeboden, Millstatt, Döbriach, Radenthein, Bad Kleinkirchheim... Then turn left towards Turracher Höhe. After about 1 km, turn left up the mountain towards Heidialm/Falkertsee. After about 7 km uphill, look out for the sign for the Falkertsee recreation area. Take the first road on the right. Almhaus Romana is the second house on the right side. Look for the blue signs with house numbers at each driveway entrance.
