The holiday home on the small Baltic island of Poel is in the Schwarzer Busch neighborhood.
The beach is 200 m away and the unmonitored natural beach about 300 m away.
Shopping and additional restaurants are located in Kirchdorf about 1.5 km away, where you can get fresh fish directly from the fishermen in the port.
There is also fresh nightly caught fish right from the fishermen in Timmendorf, 3 km away, but you shouldn't get there too late!

By car from the direction of Berlin:
A24 to the Schwerin intersection, then A241 to the end of the motorway, 17 km on the national highway
From the direction of Lübeck, Rostock:

Wir den Jahreswechsel in diesem schönen Haus verbracht und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Wohnraum im EG hat uns bei Ankunft positiv überrascht, ist größer als auf den Fotos und bietet für 4 Leute viel Platz zum erholsamen Aufenthalt inkl. großen Küchenbereich. Man freut man sich auf "zu Hause" und kann dort prima "wohnen, kochen, entspannen". Den Garten konnten wir im Winter wenig nutzen, in Verbindung mit der Sauna war er jedoch super. Strand, Kneipen/Restaurants und Minieinkäufe sind gut zu Fuß erledigen, größere Einkäufe mit Auto in Kirchdorf (ca. 3,5 km). Die Vermieter sind sehr nett u. entgegenkommend bei evtl. Anliegen. Was wir nicht wussten, dass Bettwäsche/Handtücher mit zu bringen sind. Eine Ausleihe gibt es aber auf der Insel (in Kirchdorf, neben Sky).
