Visit Cannes with its beautiful sandy beaches, museums, monuments, festivals, and attractions. Stroll along the Boulevard de la Croisette with its numerous restaurants, bars, boutiques, and shops, the Palais des Festivals, and the casino.
The Cannes Film Festival is world-famous.
In the summer, marvel at the international fireworks competition (festival d’art pyrotechnique) on several evenings in the Bay of Cannes.
Also worth seeing is the Cannes Yachting Festival, an exhibition of yachts and boats.
You can reach the islands of Sainte Marguerite and Saint Honorat by ferry, which invite you to relax with their atmosphere.
In the nearby Esterel mountains, there are great hiking and cycling routes with views of the sea and additional beaches.
Holiday destination
The apartment is approximately 900m from the Plage du Midi Côte d'Azur beach (about a 12-minute walk), 2.4km from the Palais des Festivals Cannes, and 3km from the famous Croisette with its wide sandy beach.
A ferry to the Iles de Lérins islands commutes from the port in Cannes.
The beautiful hiking area on the Côte d'Azur, the Esterel mountains, is only 8km away. Many more hiking areas of Provence and the Alpes Maritimes are adjacent.
The Nice airport is 28km away.
Getting there
By car:
via the A8 (La Provençale), take exit 41 Cannes, towards Mandelieu-Est/Cannes-La Bocca.
Follow Av. de Saint-Exupéry, Av. Francis Tonner, and Av. du Dr Raymond Picaud to Av. Amiral Wester Wemyss.
By train:
The Cannes train station is 2.6 km away. From there, a bus and taxis are available.
You can also arrive by plane via the Nice (NCE) or Cannes-Mandelieu (CEQ) airports.
