The holiday villa is situated in a peaceful location with plenty of privacy and is set on a spacious forest plot of 600m^2. The wooded area of Gaasterland is a unique part of Friesland where one can find forests, lakes, and historical sites in close proximity.
The living room with an open kitchen is equipped with a spacious dining area for 6 people and a cozy sitting area. Through the French doors, you reach the terrace in the beautiful forest garden. The forest garden with a south-facing terrace is wonderfully sunny and also has shady spots among the old trees. On the ground floor, there is a bathroom with a double vanity and shower + separate toilet. On the upper floor, there are 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds. Nearby are the Ijsselmeer and the beautiful Frisian inland lakes (great opportunities for water sports). The village of Oudemirdum offers many amenities (supermarket, bakery, butcher, restaurants, bicycle rental, and a bank). Just outside the village, on the Ijsselmeer coast, there is a lovely beach pavilion. Gaasterland is slightly hilly with forests and stately views. In the surrounding area, some of the picturesque Frisian 11 cities can be found. Gaasterland has many walking, cycling, and horse riding trails. There is a large play garden in Rijs and a golf course (9 Hole) and tennis court in Oudemirdum.
