This houseboat has a neat and complete interior. From the living room, as well as from the terrace, you have a wonderful view over the water and the meadows. The houseboat has three bedrooms, a fresh bathroom, and a complete kitchen with various built-in appliances. In the barn, there is a washer-dryer combination and an additional refrigerator. Behind the houseboat, you can have a great time with your children on the grass. From Grou, you sail with the ferry over the water to reach the houseboat. Near the houseboat, there is a parking space for your car. A few minutes' walk will take you to your holiday home.
During the summer months, the watersport village of Grou is bustling and filled with tourists. You can bring your own boat (or rent one) and dock at the pier next to the houseboat. From your holiday home, you can enjoy the water of the "Pikmeer" or take beautiful bike rides through the many picturesque villages in the area. The cozy village of Grou hosts lovely markets during the summer months. From Grou, you can take a beautiful tour on a traditional Frisian "Tjalk". The Frisian cities of Sneek and Leeuwarden (with some beautiful museums) are definitely worth a visit. Have children? Then don't forget to visit the Chameleon village in Terhorne.
In Grou, you will find among other things: a supermarket, bakery, butcher, pubs and restaurants with terraces, bank, boat/bicycle rental. Dogs are no longer allowed. Smoking in the houseboat is not permitted. The houseboat offers a special holiday experience.
